Summertime is upon us my friends and Primal Pit Paste natural deodorant is here for you!!! Before this deodorant…ooo la la did I stink! Under my arms that is, and also at making cheesecake, but that is a conversation for another day haha In my quest to clean out all of my beauty and skin care products and replace them with natural, non-toxic alternatives, deodorant has been one of the hardest to change. HOWEVER! I have found a beautiful alternative. Is it perfect? Almost. I say almost because I noticed that some of the scents worked better than others. But, in happier news, they offer a three levels of strengths that will get your choice scent to the strength your body desires: light, regular, and strong.
Primal Pit Paste caught my eye with it’s adorable, primitive logo of a man with wild hair and his pits open wide for the world to smell! Primal Pit Paste is the love child of a mother that could not find a healthy and safe alternative deodorant for her children. That’s when you know it’s good y’all! A mother’s love my friends, a mother’s love.

The Primal Pit paste comes in a variety of forms. The deodorant comes in a jar, as a stick, or as a spray! The spray is new, but I have tried both the deodorant in a jar and as a stick with the same level of effectiveness for both. For the best application with the stick method, I would advise that you press it against your armpit and let it warm up a little before you caress your gorgeous armpit with it.
Here are the scents that I have tried (and loved!):
Jacked Up Jasmine: Gives you that sweet smell of jasmine that only reminds me of the spring blooms in my grandma’s garden…mmm.
Lavender: Just enough of a smell to notice it, but not too much where you smell of only lavender for the rest of the day…only when you need it most!
Orange Creamsicle: My favorite! With it’s creamy orange citrus and vanilla smell, I found that this smell works the best. And my friends…it smells as good as it sounds!
Royal & Rogue: I would say with the warm and earthy scent of this deodorant that it is more for those who desire what would be generally known as more of a masculine smell.

As a green beauty scavenger, I am always on the look for the next amazing deodorant! However, I usually am disappointed and end up crawling back to this beautiful staple: Primal Pit Paste in orange creamsicle! Dreamy Mcdreamboat!
