When you switch to green beauty products, do you think about perfume?? I know I didn’t. But the more you dive deeper into the green world, you realize that we look out for the suspicious “fragrance” ingredient in our products and we should look at our very fragrances, our perfumes as well.
What’s wrong with mainstream perfumes?
Many mainstream perfumes contain dozens of chemicals that aren’t even listed on the labels. These chemicals can cause allergic reactions, hormone disruptions, fertility issues, thyroid disruptions, behavioral problems in infants, and cancer. These affects can not only be felt by the person wearing the fragrance but others who come into contact with it as well. Some of these chemical combinations are left off the labels because they have been deemed “trade secrets”. WTF y’all.
This is not cool and honestly, upsets me. We should all know what exactly we are paying for and what exactly we are putting into our bodies. When it comes to the health of myself and my loved ones, I don’t mess around. I thought there must be better alternatives out there.

CRG V9
The foundation of this scent is Rare Dianthus and Bourbon geranium. On top of that are scents of lavender and carnation, and mimosa making this perfume fresh and floral with a spicy finish. I am absolutely in LOVE with the warm Bourbon notes. LOVE.
TRN V4
First of all, wow…what an original. The depth of this androgynous scent is so complex, warm, and sexy. Fist I got this scent of spicy tobacco, then Bulgarian rose and lavender. Then came the neroli. When they said “is inspired by the richness, intensity and gritty sensuality of downtown Manhattan” they were not joking. Smelling this scent transports you there.
RSW 005
This androgynous scent is made of up of warm sandalwood, rose, and crisp citrus. The most prominent scent for me is the rose. I have typically associated the rose scent with feminine products, however, this rose scent stands alone with no gender connotation. Perhaps it is because of the sandalwood and citrus that finishes it and adds to its delicious complexity.
PRJ V1
This scent is a unique form of jasmine combined with scents of rose and petitgrain. This scent honestly brings me home to Portland where the take on the bohemian lifestyle is far from traditional. There is a wildness yet subtle art to this floral perfume.
OM 011
This scent is so refreshing and yet tantalizing. This scent is a mix of oudh and sandalwood with jasmine and lotus blossom. If you’re like me, you are wondering what does oudh smell like? It’s woody and sweet. Beyond oudh, I am such a sucker for jasmine, brings me back to my childhood. But this scent is the adult version, vibrant and feminine.
BS 003
This scent makes me feel like I’m walking along the coast of a woody beach landscape. The scent of dry woods is combined with crisp citrus and sweet Bergamot. This is one of my favorite scents because of how invigorating yet calming it is. Makes me feel like I could just cozy up in a big knitted sweater and listen to the ocean waves all night.
BB 11
This androgynous scent is yummy to say the least. This scent is sweet and edgy with notes of ambrette seed, florals, and warm black balsam. Oh my goodness…
AS 01
This scent is one of a kind, created with the notes of the forest. The fresh green florals and dry woods combine with cedar, tuberose, and sweet rose making it viscous and sweet at the same time.
BS 004
This perfume is created with blood orange, lime, and sandalwood making it fruity and fresh, yet warm. It is one of their best-selling perfumes and I completely see why. This scent is sexy, y’all. Can I please have a soap and oil of this scent too, please?
VLC V3
The citrus in this perfume is gorgeous! The androgynous scent is a combination of Vetiver, Moroccan Tansy combined with Moroccan Rose, Cedarwood, and Blue Cypress to make a bright and sexy perfume. It’s woodsy and yet powerfully vibrant with the citrus.
